I have no issue with the popular phrase (as it pertains to suspicious activity), “If you see something, say something.” Last Sunday at Crosspointe Community Church in Wayne, MI we saw several individuals who saw something and DID something.
Most have by now, seen the video interview with Jay Trombley – the volunteer security operator who killed the gunman. Today however I was sent a copy of an interview with Richard Pryor, the church deacon who hit the gunman with his truck, hindering his attack enough for Trombley to be given the upper hand in the gun battle that followed.
You will find it noteworthy that Deacon Pryor tried to verbally engage the gunman (“Hey boss, are you OK?”) before he began shooting into the church.
Here is that News report and interview. There are also links in the same article to Jay Trombley’s interview and that of Ron Amann (the security operator who was shot in the leg during the gun battle): https://www.wxyz.com/news/voices/nothing-seemed-right-man-who-hit-church-gunman-with-truck-speaks-exclusively-with-7-news-detroit
