It has been a little while since our last Weekly YouTube Update. Between preparing for and hosting the Security Operations Summit, our regular release schedule took a brief pause—but we are officially back on track!
We also have some exciting news: we have reached our original YouTube monetization goal! Thank you to everyone who has watched, subscribed, shared, and supported the Faith-Based Security Network's efforts to continue growing this resource. We are excited about where the channel is headed and what is still to come.
This week, we have three new videos to share with our members:
August 10, 2026: What Can Church Security Leaders Learn from the United States Secret Service? - Trent Steele addresses an important reality: church security isn't simply executive protection with a different venue. The mission has unique challenges.
August 14, 2026: What is the most important training a church security team member can do? - David Dixon encourages protectors to remember that the most important preparation may happen long before we put on a radio or take our position on Sunday morning. It happens in those quiet moments spent seeking God and developing the character necessary to serve His people well.
August 21, 2026: Could Your Church Stop an Attack? Lessons from New Life Church - Carl Chinn, shares a preview of his upcoming presentation at the Indiana Church Security Conference in Goshen, Indiana, on October 17. This event will bring together church security professionals, ministry leaders, and others committed to protecting their people while supporting the mission of the church.
We are excited to be back to regularly sharing new content and to continue building the FBSN YouTube channel into a valuable resource for our community.
As always, please watch, share, and subscribe—and help us get these resources into the hands of other church security team members and ministry leaders.
