Phillip Kemper
Security Director, Cherry Hills Community Church
Phillip Kemper began his public safety career spending 10 years in the US Air Force serving in active duty as well as in the National Guard after 9-11. Serving in Security Forces in the Air Force was a natural segway for Kemper into the law enforcement profession. Phillip Kemper began his local law enforcement career at the Jackson (Tennessee) Police Department and spent over 20 years there. He rose through the ranks to the level of Major and spent most of his career in the Special Operations Division of the department. During his career, Kemper spent several years both serving on and supervising Special Operations units such as the SWAT Team, Gang Enforcement Team, Narcotics Unit, Major Crimes Unit, and served 2 years as the General Department Training Officer overseeing the entire departments training. Most recently, Kemper has used his public safety training and experience serving at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands ranch Colorado as the Director of Safety and Security.
