Faith Based Security Network
The 1st annual FBSN Security Operations Summit is coming up on August 10th and 11th, 2018. Plan now to attend the event at Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
17 teachers, some familiar names, some new to our audiences, but all seasoned professionals, will teach on the most applicable faith-based security topics. Those topics include: insurance, child protection, executive protection, dangerous missions work, at-risk people, threat intelligence, incident management, emergency communications and other key elements of defending churches and other faith-based operations. Courses specific to certain interests (large church, small church and non-church ministry operations) will be taught in break-out sessions for the best use of time.
Stories told by Dr. Dilip Joseph (Author of “Kidnapped by the Taliban”) and Frank Pomeroy (Pastor of the Sutherland Springs Texas, 1st Baptist Church) will take you where you've never been. The current Security Directors of Focus on the Family (Brian McPike) and New Life Church (Chris Zook) will share the latest improvements of those seasoned programs.
Jimmy Meeks, Bob Wild (Brotherhood Mutual Insurance), Greg Love (MinistrySafe) and many more will present current information from their sectors.
Some of our speakers share more sensitive information when teaching exclusive audiences. Every attendee in this conference will be vetted or is already a member of the FBSN (therefore already vetted). There will be no walk-ins or same day sign-ups.NOTE: Registration ends on August 6th, 2018 – do not delay! Attendees will be in the confirmed company of other active members of faith-based or law-enforcement operations.
Only persons currently serving in leadership, safety or security related roles in main-line denominations or ministries, or active duty law-enforcement may attend. Nobody with a birthdate later than 8/10/2000 will be allowed to enter. All non-FBSN members will be required (by direct contact after registering) to confirm their service. Spouses of approved attendees may purchase an event ticket for the same price.
There are no bulk ticket discounts this 1st year.
FBSN active members get a 10% discount (all active members will receive a coupon code for the registration) off the attendance cost. If any non-FBSN applicants register but are discovered to not be currently serving (volunteer or staff) in faith-based security, safety or leadership roles, they will receive a $70.00 refund but no ticket for entry.
The cost for both days is $100.00. If you can only attend one day, there is a $60.00 one day option on the registration form.
There will be no media or recordings allowed.
